This book I have almost finished, and it is truly phenomenal. It is about the genocide in Rwanda that occured there just over 10 years ago, and the amazing thing is that their is a move of God happening and survivors are forgiving the perpetrators. It gave me huge insight into why this atrocity happened and the power of forgiveness. This is one of those books that you wish never had to be written, it leaves you wondering how humans can do this to each other.

This is one book that is hard to put down and is not for the fant hearted, as it tells it how it was.... not holding back. But then again I would encourage people to read it as it is a great story of renewal, and will leave you challanged.

A Table In The Presence

I read this book not long ago. The name "A Table in the Presence" comes from the scripture pslam 23:5. It is a fantastic book written by Lt. Carey H. Cash who is a chaplain in the U.S Marines who gives firsthand accounts of what happened of what happened in one of the fiercest battles of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and also talks about a spiritual revival that happened to his battlion of Marines in the Kuwait desert.
On the back of the book it left a a thought prevoking quote.
" This was no place for God; This was enemy territory. But when the smoke settled, God's footprints were clearly visible."
I think you can almost relate this quote to hard times in our lives, when we feel alone and just dont know what is going on in your life, God is also there to bring you though.
This is phenominal book, I would recommend it to anyone, it takes a little while to get into, but once you get into it you will find yourself absorbed in it and not able to put it down.
